Of all the Hip Hop videos of 1983, Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash dominate this years releases. As Hip Hop was transitioning from Funk/Dance/Disco derived sounds, Hip Hop videos of 1983 began adopting colorful themes with better video productions. As many of the videos went on to be featured as songs in a number of soundtracks, the art gained yet more popularity, catching a larger following across North America as well as Europe.
