If there is one Hip Hop artist who can get away with dropping a track titled "HUMBLE" all while drapped in pope-like attire, while talking down on the over saturated Hip Hop community, then recreate the last supper with the upmost confidence, it's Kendrick Lamar.
Kendrick displays a clear theme here on "Humble"; A rap god among peasants, the one who stands out in the crowd, a leader of the new school era, his aim is clear, especially after dropping "The Heart Part 4".
With "HUMBLE" being Kendrick's 2nd drop within a week, it is only fair to assume he is locked and loaded, preparing to unleash his fury on the rap game.
It is uncertain, but there is question if Kendrick's use of "Lil Bitch" on "HUMBLE" is mocking Big Sean, considering it is a coined adlib used by the Detroit Hip Hop artist.
If there is one thing for sure, what ever Kendrick has brewing up for April 7th, he has demonstrated here that there will be no survivors.
Mike Will Made it hinted that there was something stirring up early on March 30th with this tweet,
New HEAT dropping tonight, imma just keep it like that .
"Aye, I remember syrup sandwiches and crime allowances, Finesse a nigga with some counterfeits",
"I'm so fuckin sick and tired of the Photoshop, Show me something natural like afro on Richard Pryor, Show me something natural like ass with some stretchmarks, Still will take you down right on your mama's couch in Polo socks, aye"
"This that Grey Poupon, that Evian, that TED Talk, aye Watch my soul speak, you let the meds talk, aye If I kill a nigga, it won't be the alcohol, aye I'm the realest nigga after all, bitch, be humble".
